Client privacy is important to us.
Kenzen Sports Karate Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Kenzen Karate mobile application (“Kenzen app”, “the Service”) in conjunction with our Kenzen Karate club and website, and the MyStudio platform.

The Kenzen Karate app is developed and maintained by MyStudio, which acts as our technology provider. Webflow is our website provider.

The app is distributed through Google Play and Apple App Store, and both Google and Apple serve as platform providers with their own privacy policies that clients are encouraged to review.

This Kenzen policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose client personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) of British Columbia.

We may collect client personal identification information (such as name, email address, and phone number), payment details, usage data (including app interactions and device information), location data (if permission is granted), and photos, videos, or files (if required for app functionality and with client consent).

Cookies or similar tracking technologies may be used by Webflow as our website provider to analyze usage and improve the client experience.

This information is collected to provide and maintain the Service, process registrations and payments, improve and personalize the client experience, communicate updates or offers, analyze usage, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell client personal data.

Client information may be shared with service providers—including MyStudio (as app developer), analytics and hosting providers, and payment processors—solely as necessary to operate the Service, or with legal authorities if required by law.

Some third-party providers may process or store client information on servers outside the client’s country of residence, and we take steps to ensure client data is protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws; these providers have their own privacy policies, which clients are encouraged to review.

Client personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect client data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Special care is taken with information about minors: for clients under the age of 19, or those unable to provide meaningful consent, parental or guardian consent is required before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information.
